Overall, I highly recommend this game to any predator fan. The camera angles can be a little harsh which makes platforming more difficult. The controls are pretty decent but it definitely takes some time to master this guy. You get to kill mob bosses from the early 1900s! You even get to take on some aliens which is an added bonus. It is set in the future but bounces back in history which is pretty cool. In some cases, you get to hang your enemies from their feet which is awesome. I enjoy sneaking up behind them and taking them out Predator style. There are so many ways to decimate your enemies. There is a lot of stealth in the game and you get to use all of the fun Predator gadgets including his vision modes (with awesome sound effects), signature wrist blades, boomerang disk, invisibility cloak and much more.

I love being able to check out my predator from every angle and you can change his costume (I always play as the original 1987 Movie Predator). I believe it is the only 3rd person Predator game on the market. I know its from 2005 but I end up playing it every couple of years and it never gets old (I just beat it again last night). *Watch out for some familiar foes, they come in droves and can be quite a nuisance! I appreciate the fact that you can replay previous or favorite missions at your leisure or go for a checkpoint run and try for some new items. One of my favorite missions is waking up in a lab stripped of every piece of your tech and realizing just how much there was available. Making some of the bonus tasks (which are ALL about speed) nearly impossible.ДЄll in all, this game is very fun and highly addictive once you realize how many items and moves are at your disposal and the option to be stealth or show yourself and just be as ugly as you are mean. It also makes it very difficult for Predator to run fast if the camera angle isn't parallel to his shoulders. Which comes in handy at times for blind jumps and such but proved too distracting for me. The camera angle is too dependent on the right analog's position. My only beef with this game is the rotating camera, left goes right and vice versa. The play controls are perfectly responsive. Especially the latter stages where you really have to ration your energy and health. I must admit this game is a challenge if you are trying to earn bonuses. There are plenty of bonus missions, alternate costumes, and upgraded weapons to earn if you choose to become the true Predator. Save the pain for the drug dealers, voodoo mystics and mafioso that have stolen your tech and brought you and your clan much shame.

But not too bad now, you can only kill so many humans that are running or scared per mission.

You have access to EVERY piece of Predator tech! Cloak, vocal mimicry, wristblades, combistick (staff, which you can upgrade to a double edged sword or glaive.), smart disc, speargun, shoulder-mounted plasma cannon, pulse mines, fire bombs, every vision tech (heat vision, night vision, and psychoanalysis!!), you can climb certain walls, do backflips, megajumps and basically be as bad as you want to be. Heck why not throw a fool ten feet in the air and impale him on your combistick if he chooses to step up for a taste? You could begin with a face grab and mega kick or go all out and rip a guy in half. Speaking of violence and horrible ways to die, Predator has many, many w ays to dish out nasty punishment at his disposal. Some of the villains and bosses are hokey but hey, ya gotta have someone with a spine and skull to rip out, otherwise your goin' home trophyless. You really find yourself in the thick of a great plotline that would've made a great movie version of Predator 3. The story follows the same plots of Predators 1 & 2 with a really cool time travel twist and some VERY impressive cutscenes between, during or after missions. It's difficult to find but I managed to get a good version with no instruction booklet. I got into a selling frenzy and not realizing my possible oversight, sold this game. I originally bought this game brand new, completed every mission and even earned a few bonus items.
